‘I have two hobbies: raising snails and belly dancing. But belly dancing is what gives me the most joy. My best belly dancing buddy’s name is Sofia, like me. She’s the kind of person who’s not afraid to say that she’s best dancer ever! That is true, but then I’m someone who makes new friends easily. People who fight give me a bad feeling. I don’t like it at all.
Making friends is easy. You just think up a game that everyone enjoys - like hide and seek or snake: that’s when everyone stands in a circle and one person swirls the jumping rope around. When you see the rope coming, you jump. If you don’t, the snake will bite you and you’re out.’
Sofia fled the conflict in Eastern Ukraine and is building a new life in another city in Ukraine.
